Below are some suggested additional activities you can enjoy at specific destinations; however, this is not exhaustive. A price estimate is also provided; however, since seasons impact opening times, menu changes, and offerings, we need to quote individually based on your preferences.
Torquay
Surf shops abound; if you enjoy surfing or the brands, this place is the mecca of surf apparel. It includes Rip Curl, Quiksilver, and similar brands.
Anyone up for a private surf lesson? 'Go Ride a Wave' is a professional outfit, offering services along the Southwest Coast.($220 pp)
Aireys Inlet
Lunch at Aireys Inlet Hotel, soaking up the views, or at A La Greque for an afternoon of fresh Greek cuisine. ($100 pp)
Lorne
Lunch at Totties offers Italian fine dining at The Lorne Hotel, a drink at the Grand Pacific Hotel (Circa 1879) overlooking Lorne township and its iconic beach ($100-$200pp).
Or a gourmet Aussie BBQ provided by Luxe Ventures at Scotchman's Hill, with views of Louttit Bay and Lorne Point. ($50 pp)
For the more adventurous, Live Wire Park is home to Australia's most extreme zip line experience, or you can challenge yourself on the treetop canopy circuit. ($130 pp) Great fun if travelling with children. A short drive further out to the back of Lorne township takes us to Erskine Waterfalls (no fee).
Great Ocean Road Coast
